Peter Gregson is a British composer and cellist ‘working at the forefront of the new music scene’ (The New Yorker), and an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon recording artist.
He has released five studio albums: “Patina” (2021); “Bach Recomposed” (2018); “Touch” (2015); “Lights in the Sky”(2014); and “Terminal” (2010). Between album releases, he has undertaken commissions for stage and screen including films such as Alan Rickman’s A LITTLE CHAOS and Roger Michell’s BLACKBIRD; ballets for companies including Gauthier Dance, the Joffrey Ballet, BC Ballet, and the Dutch National Ballet; and tours around the world as a performing artist at venues varying from a rooftop club in Hong Kong to The Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg to the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville TN.
Gregson’s music features in campaigns including Balenciaga, Ralph Lauren, and Pat McGrath, as well as in popular TV series, including Paolo Sorrentino’s cult HBO/Sky series THE NEW POPE, and Netflix’s BRIDGERTON.
