Nate Heller

The path to becoming a composer for film scores is not standard by any means, and Nate Heller took an interesting journey. While studying music production techniques and interning at University of California, San Diego in his 20s, he started touring the country nationally with his band Wendy Darling, and soon the group landed a record deal. From there, the band’s music was used in both film and television, and Nate seized the opportunity to carve out a new musical career. His credits include Sundance- and Berlin-winning ‘The Diary Of A Teenage Girl’ and his most recent project, Academy Award-nominated ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ Nate’s next project will be the upcoming Fred Rogers biopic ‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood’ starring Tom Hanks.
