Jamie Forsyth

 

Jamie Forsyth is a Toronto-born composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music career has spanned more than two decades of musical theater, television and live venues from clubs to concert arenas all over the world.

After entering the University of Toronto’s Jazz Studies program and subsequently spending the next few years of his career conducting orchestras in Toronto’s vibrant theater scene, he found his way to Los Angeles. He began working alongside friend and mentor Sean Callery on series like 24 Legacy, Elementary, and Jessica Jones, among others, and most notably on FOX’s primetime juggernaut Bones. Other recent series credits include the 4-part follow-up mini-series The Kennedys: After Camelot, ABC’s Somewhere Between, and Marvel’s Inhumans.

Jamie has earned 5 ASCAP Awards for his music on Bones, as well as a Royal Television Society Award (UK) for Outstanding Main Title Music for the BBC show Playing It Straight.

He currently lives and works in Mar Vista, California.
