Chad was formerly the drummer of School of Fish (Capitol Records), known for their early 90’s KROQ hit “Three Strange Days.” Chad then went on to form his own band, Lazlo Bane (Almo Sounds), which he fronted on guitar and vocals and also produced. Their song “Superman” is the theme song to NBC’s hit comedy SCRUBS.
Chad has also led a successful producing career at his studio Lookout Sound, working with the likes of Alexi Murdoch, Sia, Cary Brothers, Joshua Radin, The Good Luck Joes, Matt White, Graham Colton, Bonnie Summerville, Schuyler Fisk, Lisa Loeb, Liz Phair, Everlast and his good friend Colin Hay.
