Chad moved to Los Angeles via NYC in the early 90’s to play drums for Capitol’s School of Fish. By 1995 he started his own band, Lazlo Bane (ALMO/Geffen), best known for the NBC Scrubs theme song, Superman, while running his studio, Lookout Sound, in the heart of Laurel Canyon, producing various singer songwriters as Colin Hay, Liz Phair, Lisa Loeb as well as developing upcoming Hotel Cafe favorites, Alexi Murdoch, Cary Brothers and Joshua Radin.
By 2002, having scored the hit Garden State (Fox/Miramax), Chad found himself fully engrossed in composing for film and TV. He most recently scored Chasing Mavericks (Fox 2000) and is currently working on his 6th season of Private Practice (ABC) and his second season on Scandal (ABC).
